Jason & Virginia's WeddingVirginia was born and raised in Columbus, Nebraska.  Randy and Harriette Janicek worked hard to send Ginger, her nickname growing up, to St. Isadore’s Catholic Grade School and Scotus Central Catholic Middle & High School.  She went on to received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa in 1999 and moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota to follow a career in banking.  She volunteered for a number of events and was the West Central Jr. High Dance Coach and West Central High School Dance & Cheer Coach.  It was during this time she received the honor as one of the “2001 Ten Outstanding Young South Dakotans” awards from the 5264-4x6South Dakota Jaycees. 
 
Her job with U.S. Bank brought her back to Sioux City in 2001, where she helped to form the Sioux City Growth Organization.  Later going on to become the 1st President of the YPIowa (Young Professionals of Iowa) board.  Virginia met Jason, a financial advisors with the Siouxland Investment Group,in April of 2002.  They were married in April of 2005.  They enjoy their free time by spending quality time with their daughter, Bailey.  On May 1, 2009, Jason and Virginia were licensed as foster parents for the State of Iowa.  They have done respite for 6 children and had 4 foster children since being licensed.
 
Virginia changed career paths in August of 2006 from bank management into real estate, as Project Manager for Kelly Property Advisors.  In this role, she oversees residential real estate projects, assists in commercial development projects, and handles all office operations.  She also assisted Kyle Kelly with the opening of his new brokerage firm, Pro-Link Realty, which launched in February 2008.  In February 2011, Pro-Link Realty expanded as it purchasedCENTURY 21 Davenport & Associates to form a team of 40 agents, which now operates under the name CENTURY 21 ProLink.  In February 2012, she was given therole of Director of Business Development for Chatterkick, LLC.  This company, whose owners are Kyle Kelly and Beth Trejo, work to find businesses simple online social solutions to increase the chatter about their business.
