Bailey’s Coach Pitch Game
Weekend went by fast
After last weeks long weekend, this weekend went by fast.
We went to the SCGO FORE A GOOD TIME event up at the Sioux City Country Club on Friday night. It was good to hang with friend. The music was also good, but he should have handed out cards so people could book him after the event. Cara and Craig stopped over when we got home.
Saturday and Sunday we focused on helping good friends of ours move. There were a lot of good memories that came back as we were going through things.
Last night I took Bailey to a Bandits game. All the players signed a football that we usually take places with us for something to throw around. All the players were really nice and thanked us except for one who felt he needed to talk about his agent with a fellow player and just signed. Need to probably work on his teamwork skills and on the field skills a little more….
Here’s to the week!

‘Responsibility and accountability’
The Crittenton Center’s Westside Resource Center provides free parenting classes to parents of children under 6 years of age.
The research-based classes teach parents everything from how to clean an umbilical chord to safe disciplining techniques.
Primarily teenagers and young parents attend the classes because they want to know more about parenting, or have been ordered to by the court, according to Westside Resource Center program director Monica Rosenthal.
In 2009, Rosenthal said 451 families attended the 6-session curriculum. Of those families, 311 of them made $10,000 or less annually, 209 were single, and 219 did not have a high school education.

The show was Fantastic! It worked for Bailey and it worked for us.
It was extremely cold wait before go in! But once we sat down, the warmth began. We had salad on the table and corn bread. The sining began and the food was delivered in pales — ribs and fried chicken. Bailey loved it. They sang to mom for her birthday. Bailey laughed at a!out half their jokes and we laughed at everyone.
We clapped, we danced, we made music! We were sad to see it over.

We got sprayed, stung by a bee and had termites crawl under our seat. We also had a stink bug spray us. YUK!
