It was a great day in Sioux City yesterday. So many people, and everyone celebrating their love for biking. Jason helped with set up on Friday and I helped out in the beer tent on Saturday. Rockestra was fabulous last night! We also hosted a group of 5 guys in our backyard. We had a great time talking with them. We made them dinner and breakfast and they were so thankful. The sea of bikes leaving this morning was a very cool scene.
I can’t wait to see this happen again in Sioux City!
I will post the updates I get from Jason on his two day trip….
Not sure what is causing it, but she is just out of it. She talks about random things, falls asleep in the middle of a conversation and when talking to her it’s like talking to someone with a deer in the headlights type of stare.
They first thought it was the new back pain medicine that she was taking, now today they are saying it was that she was dehidrated. They said she needs to get cozy for she will be staying quite a while this time.

Thanks to everyone who came out to Minerva’s last night for the Boxers and Bras Pre-Party. It was a fabulous turn out and the celebrity creations and table doodlings were FABULOUS! So, we now have 7 boxers / bras for the event in October. That only means we need 93 more people / businesses to commit to and finish one! My goal is to have 100 boxers / bras on display the night of the Party!
See how fast Perry Creek is flowing today. They spent yesterday trying to remove debri. Lots more already building up.
NO EXCUSES is what Jason reminded me this morning. So, when he left at 6:30 to help with tree removal, I turned on the weather channel and watched for the rain to split around us. Once that was the case, I headed out for an exercise. To run or to bike. I know I get a better workout if I run, but the humidity level is at 80%. Stupid me decided on the run option. Did my mile in 11 minutes, but almost puked afterwards. I know, its sad, about double my time from grade school, but I did pass two people, and I kept up with that log going down the perry creek. I saw a snake, lots of worms, tree branches and snails on my run/jog this morning. Now onto my day of work and taking care of the girls. Happy Saturday.
